8 Steps For Start-Ups
Congratulations on your new business venture! To help budding entrepreneurs get up to speed on the Government laws, regulations, taxes and assistance schemes, we have prepared a simple checklist.
  1. Sign up for the EnterpriseOne Digest – it is a monthly newsletter that tracks the latest changes in laws, regulations and assistance schemes.

  2. Ensure your business premises (office, shop, factory, etc.) can be used to carry on your business.

  3. Apply for all the licences and permits you need to operate your business.

  4. Familiarise yourself with the tax incentives for start-ups.

  5. Find Government assistance for your start-up.

  6. Register your business with the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board before hiring your first employee.

  7. Comply with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority’s post-registration requirements.

  8. Open for business!
