The second and final tranche of the Workfare Bonus will be paid on 1 May. The Manpower Ministry urges those who qualify to declare their income by 1 April.
For the self-employed, they should receive their Income Tax Return by 1 March and if they declare their net trade income by 1 April, they will get their bonus on 1 May.
The Workfare Bonus scheme rewards Singaporeans aged 40 and above, earning no more than $1,500 a month, for staying in regular, productive work for at least six months last year. They must also have signed up for the Progress Package.
Those who worked but do not have CPF contributions and have not received an Income Tax Return by 1 March, they can apply by filling in the Workfare Bonus Declaration Form.
