Singapore’s infocomm sector has embarked on an exercise to develop and market a distinct Singapore Infocomm Brand, aiming to tap into growth opportunities in the industry - which is estimated to hit revenue of S$40 billion for the first time this year.
To help local infocomm companies (iLEs) develop intellectual property for domestic and overseas markets, the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) will implement the Infocomm Enterprise Programme (iEP).
The iEP is a sector-wide partnership programme that will benefit local iLEs by enhancing their capabilities to undertake large-scale, sector-wide infocomm projects and helping them internationalise their efforts.
All Singapore-registered infocomm enterprises (with at least 30% local equity) or iLE-led consortiums with sound financial records are eligible for this programme. - TODAY
