Local game developers can now get Government funding to create games for Microsoft's Xbox LIVE, an online gaming community with 14 million members.
Grants of up to S$50,000 will be awarded by the Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA) to successful applicants of the MDA-Microsoft XNA Development Initiative.
To apply, game developers must:
- have an innovative and good quality game proposal
- create and launch their game idea within 6 months upon successful application
Game developers can create, submit and commercialise their creations through Xbox LIVE Community Games, an online games distribution channel for developers in the United States, Europe and Singapore.
