Skills Redevelopment Programme (SRP) For Training Providers

Do you provide certifiable training courses? Get your courses approved under SRP and businesses that send their employees for your courses will receive training allowances.

For who?

  • Singapore-registered organisations, including businesses that provide training courses.

For what?

  • To enable training providers to submit their certifiable training courses for SRP-funding. SRP gives the employer a training allowance (“absentee payroll”) for every training hour.

How much?

Profile Of Trainee Absentee Payroll Mandatory Top-Up By EMPLOYER For Training Conducted OUTSIDE Working Hours
For employees aged 40 years and above with ‘A’ Levels and below 90% of hourly basic salary (capped at S$4.50 per trainee-hour) 10% of hourly basic salary (capped at S$0.50 per trainee-hour)
Other employees 80% of hourly basic salary (capped at S$4.00 per trainee-hour) 20% of hourly basic salary (capped at S$1.00 per trainee-hour)

  • For the employer to get the absentee payroll, the employer must be a Singapore-registered business and the trainees must:

    • be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents
    • attend at least 75% of the course and pass all assessments
    • fully-sponsored by the employer
