Is your business in the aerospace industry? Get a grant to send new and inexperienced staff for theoretical, basic skills and on-the-job training.

For who?

• Singapore-based companies in the aerospace industry who wish to hire and train jobseekers without industry experience for technical jobs.
  
  
• Individuals who wish to become technicians in the aerospace industry.
  
  
• Trainees under this grant must:
  
  
  • be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents
  • have 'N' or 'O' levels (English and one other subject)

For what?

• To encourage aerospace businesses to hire jobseekers without aviation engineering experience by subsidising the costs of training inexperienced new employees to become technicians.
  
  
• From the jobseeker’s perspective, AeRO Plus encourages those without aviation engineering experience to take up jobs as technicians in the industry.
  
  
• Trainees under AeRO Plus will attend 3 months of theoretical and basic skills training followed by on-the-job training with participating businesses.
  
  
• The theoretical and basic skills training is conducted by the Air Transport Training College (ATTC), the training arm of Singapore Institute of Aerospace Engineers. For a list of courses and fees, please contact ATTC.

How much?

• The training grant amount is based on the age and academic qualifications of the trainee.
