Who Is Eligible For The Award?

• Businesses, organisations, private trusts and foundations, and individuals are eligible if they have either:
  
  
  • made contributions of S$50,000 and above in cash, kind (e.g. advertising/media space, venue space, etc.) or materials (e.g. artefacts, artworks, archival materials, etc.), during the qualifying period of a year.
    
    
  • loaned artefacts/artworks for at least 5 years
    
    
• Contributions made directly or indirectly to museums, heritage centres/galleries/organisations, or heritage-related projects will also be considered.
  
  
• The Awards are based on contributions to:
  
  
  • the collection of any museum, heritage gallery/institution in Singapore
  • the development/refurbishment of any museum, heritage gallery/institution in Singapore
  • the creation of significant heritage events (e.g. competitions and exhibitions) for the general public
  • publications or scholarship programmes related to heritage (e.g. curatorial/archival studies, museum management, exhibition design, heritage education, etc.)

  Distinguished Patron of Heritage Award	S$2 million and above
  Patron of Heritage Award	S$1 million to S$1,999,999
  Partner of Heritage Award	S$150,000 to S$999,999
  Friend of Heritage Award	S$50,000 to S$149,999
  Distinguished Supporter of Heritage	S$1 million and above in artefacts/artworks loaned for 5 years or more
  Supporter of Heritage Award	Less than S$1 million in artefacts/artworks loaned for 5 years or more

How Does This Award Benefit Businesses?

• You can get official recognition for promoting heritage development in Singapore, as the Awards are widely publicised in the media. Organisations and individuals who receive the Award are also free to publicise their Award status in their publications and collaterals.
  
  
• You can also network with top businessmen, philanthropists, professionals and Government officials during the Award ceremony.

• Businesses, organisations and individuals can nominate themselves for the Award by downloading the Nomination Form (PDF) at the Patron of Heritage Awards website.
