Who Can Participate In ARTSingapore?
- Art galleries, auction houses, artists and art collectors who wish to showcase contemporary artworks in any visual arts discipline (e.g. paintings, sculptures, drawings, installations, photographs, digital art, etc.) and launch new pieces by up-and-coming artists.
- Non-arts businesses can participate as sponsors or advertisers to gain publicity and brand awareness from the event:
- 110 galleries from 16 countries were showcased at ARTSingapore 2008
- some 15,000 visitors attended ARTSingapore in 2008; 60% were overseas visitors who came specially for the event
- approximately S$10 million worth of artworks were sold in 2008
