Step-by-Step guide on applying for iEP
Before you apply
- Learn more about iEP on the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) website.
- Ensure that your business or infocomm project qualifies for funding.
Contact IDA if you need help.
- Draw up your infocomm project plan.
You need to show that you have a ready pool of potential customers that want to implement your ICT solution.
Applying for iEP
- Obtain an Application Form from IDA.
- Submit the Application Form and supporting documents to IDA.
A list of the supporting documents you need can be found in the Application Form.
- Wait 2 weeks for IDA to reply.
IDA will let you know if your business or project qualifies for the funding.
- Present your project to the iEP Evaluation Committee.
The evaluation committee comprises top management from IDA and industry experts. The presentation is usually scheduled within 3 months of the previous step.
- Wait 1-3 months for the outcome.
You will receive a Letter of Offer or a Letter of Rejection within 1-3 months of the presentation to the Evaluation Committee.
Upon successful application
- Accept the Letter of Offer and start on your project.
- Keep proper financial records.
E.g. expenses, invoices, receipts relating to the project.
- Keep proper project records.
E.g. scope, timeline, deliverables, progress reports, evaluation reports.
- Pay for the project’s costs first.
The grant is given on a reimbursement basis.
Claiming for funds
- Submit your claim form with your financial and project records.
IDA will let you know how to go about submitting your claims.
- Wait 3-6 months for IDA to approve your claims and reimburse you.
IDA will need to audit your claims.
