Step-by-Step guide on applying for EASe.
Before you apply
- Learn more about EASe on the National Environment Agency’s (NEA) Energy Efficient Singapore website.
- Ensure your organisation qualifies for the grant.
Call NEA at 1800-2255 632 or email Contact_NEA@nea.gov.sg if you need help.
- Conduct a preliminary energy appraisal before applying. Download the guidelines for the energy report appraisal format (WORD).
Applying for EASe
- Download and complete the application form (WORD) .
- Prepare the following documents:
- Application Form, fully completed
- Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) Business Profile
- Latest audited financial statement
- Preliminary energy appraisal report, containing:
- scope of appraisal
- preliminary recommendations
- implementation costs and estimates of energy savings
- schedule
- Proposed contract with an Energy Services Company (ESCO)
- Submit your application, proposal and documents to:

- Wait 14 working days for approval.
Upon successful application
- You will receive a Letter of Offer from NEA.
- Start on the appraisal with your chosen consultant.
- Keep proper financial records.
E.g. expenses, invoices, receipts.
- Complete your appraisal and pay for all appraisal costs first. The grant is given on a reimbursement basis.
Claiming for funds
- Submit supporting documents to show that you have carried out the appraisal successfully.
- Wait 30 working days to receive the funds from NEA. You will receive the funds by Interbank GIRO.
