Step-by-Step guide on applying for i.Jam Micro Funding Scheme

Before you apply

1. Learn more about i.Jam Micro Funding Scheme on the Interactive Digital Media (IDM) Programme Office website.
   
   
2. Ensure you and your project qualify.
   Contact the IDM Programme Office if you need help.

3. Download the i.Jam Project Application Form (WORD).
   
   
4. Complete and send the project submission form to any of the business mentors appointed by the (IDM) Programme Office.

5. Wait 6 - 8 weeks for a reply.
   The IDM Programme Office will let you know if your application is successful.

6. Receive the Letter of Offer.
   Terms and conditions are inside the Letter of Offer. You have 30 days to reject the offer. If you do not do so, you are considered as having accepted the Letter of Offer along with all the terms and conditions.
   
   
7. Appointment of mentor.
   Applicants must apply directly to any of the business mentors appointed by the IDM Programme Office.
   
   
8. Meet with your mentor to arrange equity stake.
   Your mentor will take up an equity stake of 10% - 25% of your project’s cost.
   
   
9. Start on your project.
   You must start on your project within 1 month of the date on the Letter of Offer.
   
   
10. Keep proper financial records.
    You must keep documentary evidence (e.g. receipts, invoices, cheques issued) of your expenditure.

11. Receive the funds as advancements every quarter.
    Your mentor will disburse the funds to you.

12. Submit your receipts to the IDM Programme Office.
    
    
13. Submit project report to the IDM Programme Office.
