Builds management capabilities of SMEs leaders through postgraduate and executive development courses.
For who?
- Senior managers and Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) of small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
- Your business qualifies as a SME if you have:
- 30% - 100% local shareholding
- group fixed assets worth S$0 - S$15 million
- 0 - 200 employees (for companies in the services sector)
- Your business must also fulfill criteria (A) and (B), or (A) and (C)
- (A) Size and growth
- at least S$10 million in annual sales turnover*, or
- at least S$5 million in annual sales turnover* and company growth exceeding industry average, or
- at least 50 employees and company growth exceeding industry average
- (B) Markets
- revenue from overseas markets, including sales from non-domestic sources, foreign exports, or bound overseas via local intermediary
- (C) Operations
- investments in foreign operations, or
- multiple establishments such as outlets, factories and facilities
For what?
- To encourage senior managers and CEOs to enhance their business management and leadership skills by offering customised and affordable postgraduate and executive development courses tailored to SMEs.
How much?
- Funds are allocated to partnering Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs). The funds lower the operating costs and costs of customising course materials for SMEs. The IHLs pass on these savings to course participants in the form of lower course fees.
- For postgraduate courses, the course fees range from S$25,000 to S$40,000 per participant.
- For executive level development courses, the course fees range from S$600 to S$15,000 per participant.
