TradeXchange is a neutral and secure online trade platform that facilitates the exchange of information within the trade and logistics community.

Aims 

  • To help trade and logistics businesses process trade documents more efficiently and cost-effectively with business partners.

  • To offer businesses a single electronic platform for trade transactions and enquiries to Government bodies such as Sea Ports, Airports, Maritime Authorities, Customs and Controlling Agencies.

  • To enable multiple submission of documents and minimise data re-entry errors through a single interface to multiple commercial and regulatory systems.

For who?

  • Businesses in Singapore’s trade and logistics community:

    • logistics providers such as freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping agents
    • exporters, importers & manufacturers
    • banks & financial service providers

  • Trade and logistics businesses overseas can also register for certain services.

  • TradeXchange can help to streamline your import/export processes, or add value to your financial services.

  • You can tap on TradeXchange’s services such as: 

    • Title Registry
      Create, transfer and verify title documents of goods electronically, or issue electronic bills of lading.

    • Overseas Highway Customs
      Reuse and send trade declaration data online for customs clearance in neighbouring countries like Australia, Chinese Taipei, Malaysia and Thailand.

    • Overseas Highway Manifest
      Submit manifest data to overseas regulatory authorities before your cargo arrives in the foreign country.

    • Integrated Multimodal Solution
      Connect to system providers like Cargo Community Network and Portnet to enquire on air/sea schedules and track cargo. 

    • RosettaNet Automated Enablement (RAE)
      Manufacturers can connect with their customers, suppliers and trading partners on the RAE framework to exchange commercial documents like purchase orders, packing lists and invoices. 

    • Shipping Line Linkages
      Send and receive cargo space bookings, enquiries and other relevant messages from shipping lines electronically.

  • You can also utilise TradeXchange’s value-added services such as:

    • trade document preparation
    • supply chain management
    • logistics and freight management
    • trade financing and insurance matters

Things to note

  • Please contact the appointed contractor, CrimsonLogic Pte Ltd, directly to register for TradeXchange.

  • To encourage early adoption of TradeXchange, discounts will be offered on certain charges incurred up to 31 October 2008.
