Skills Redevelopment Programme (SRP)

Get subsidised training for your employees.

For who?

  • Singapore-registered companies sponsoring trainees who are Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents

For what?

  • SRP is a national funding incentive programme that helps employers send their employees for certifiable training. 

  • SRP aims to provide the cutting-edge skills for employees to perform better at their current jobs, be better prepared for changes in their work environment and to take on higher value-added jobs.
Choose from more than 1,300 courses.

How much?

  • SRP is funded by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA). Absentee Payroll is a funding incentives paid to the employer.

 

For Employees Aged 40 Years And Above With ‘A’ Levels And Below

Other Employees 

Course Funding

90% of course fees, capped at S$11 per trainee hour 

80% of course fees, capped at S$7 per trainee hour

Absentee Payroll  

90% of hourly basic salary, capped at S$4.50 per trainee hour

80% of hourly basic salary, capped at S$4 per trainee hour 

Mandatory Top-up By Employer For Training Conducted Outside Working Hours 10% of hourly basic salary, capped at S$0.50 per trainee hour 20% of hourly basic salary, capped at S$1.00 per trainee hour
  • For any training conducted outside working hours, the employer must top up the other 10% or 20% (up to S$1.00 an hour) of the absentee payroll and pay 100% of the absentee payroll to the employee.

  • There is no absentee payroll funding for On-The-Job Training (OJT).

Facts & figures

  • Since SRP was launched in May 1998, it has achieved 343,546 training places as at March 2007.
