- SRP is a national funding incentive programme that helps employers send their employees for certifiable training.
- SRP aims to provide the cutting-edge skills for employees to perform better at their current jobs, be better prepared for changes in their work environment and to take on higher value-added jobs.

How much?
- SRP is funded by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA). Absentee Payroll is a funding incentives paid to the employer.
- For any training conducted outside working hours, the employer must top up the other 10% or 20% (up to S$1.00 an hour) of the absentee payroll and pay 100% of the absentee payroll to the employee.
- There is no absentee payroll funding for On-The-Job Training (OJT).
Facts & figures
- Since SRP was launched in May 1998, it has achieved 343,546 training places as at March 2007.
