Is your business in the construction industry? Get a grant to train new workers without industry experience to become trade foremen.
For who?
- Singapore-based companies in the construction industry who wish to hire and train employees without industry experience to become trade foremen.
- Individuals who wish to become trade foremen in the construction industry.
- Trainees under this grant must be:
- Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents
- physically fit
- able to speak and write in English
- Trainees should also have:
For what?
- To encourage construction businesses to hire jobseekers without industry experience by subsidising the costs of training inexperienced new employees to become trade foremen.
- From the jobseeker’s perspective, CORE encourages those without construction industry experience to take up jobs as trade foremen in the industry.
- The grant can only be used for the following courses offered by the BCA Academy (formerly known as Construction Industry Training Institute):
