Is your business in the aerospace industry? Get a grant to send new and inexperienced staff for theoretical and basic skills training.
For who?
- Singapore-based companies in the aerospace industry who wish to hire and train jobseekers without industry experience for technical jobs.
- Individuals who wish to become technicians in the aerospace industry.
- Trainees under this grant must:
- be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents
- have 'N' or 'O' levels (English and one other subject)
For what?
- To encourage aerospace businesses to hire jobseekers without aviation engineering experience by subsidising the costs of training inexperienced new employees to become technicians.
- From the jobseeker’s perspective, AeRO encourages those without aviation engineering experience to take up jobs as technicians in the industry.
- Trainees under AeRO will attend 3-4 months of theoretical and basic skills training.
- The theoretical and basic skills training is conducted by the Air Transport Training College (ATTC), the training arm of Singapore Institute of Aerospace Engineers. For a list of courses and fees, please contact ATTC.
How much?
- The training grant amount is based on the age and academic qualifications of the trainee.
