Get a grant to undertake Clean Environment research and development (R&D) in waste management.
For who?
- Singapore-registered companies
- Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs)
- Public sector agencies
- Not-for-profit research entities
- For-profit research organisations
For what?
- To award grants on a competitive basis to R&D projects in the areas of energy recovery, materials recovery and special waste treatment.
- To develop sustainable and cost-efficient waste management solutions for Singapore.
How much?
- Up to 70% funding of approved direct qualifying cost for Singapore-registered companies and for-profit research organisations.
- Up to 100% funding of approved direct qualifying cost for IHLs, public sector agencies and not-for-profit research entities.
- The maximum funding amount is S$2 million for each project.
Things to note
- Your project should not take more than 3 years.
- The research activities must be carried out in Singapore.
- Invitations for submission of proposals are made through calls for Request-For-Proposal (RFP) in January and July every year.
- The opening and closing dates of RFP calls will be released on NEA’s website.
- Proposals already funded or being considered for funding by other agencies would not be eligible for ETRP.
