Is your business in the media or design industry? Get a grant of up to S$140,000 to create television programmes featuring Singapore design.
For who?
- Singapore-registered companies with:
- 50% – 100% local shareholding
- central management and control in Singapore
For what?
- To fund the development of television programmes featuring Singapore design.
- Your DTP project must achieve the following:
- raise public appreciation, awareness and/or understanding of design
- promote the adoption of Singapore design by corporations and organisations
- make Singapore the regional hub for the production, distribution and broadcast of DTPs
- Your DTP project must have:
- content featuring Singapore design
- secured commitment from broadcasters to air the show locally/abroad
- Your DTP project team must include one of the following:
- an international design organisation/DesignSingapore Industry Development Panel organisation
- an international award-winning designer as the executive producer/design content consultant
- a design-driven production company
- a production company or executive producer with experience in making quality design programmes of international standards (aired on international cable channels).
How much?
- Up to 50% of the pre and post production qualifying costs, subject to a maximum of S$140,000.
Things to note
- You must acknowledge and credit DesignSingapore in your publicity materials/credits.
- You should apply for the Overseas Promotion Partnership Programme (OPPP) instead if:
- you are a foreign company; and/or
- your project is for design development such as developing Singapore designers abroad
- If your application is successful, DesignSingapore Council has the right to use stills and clips from your project for their presentations and collaterals.
