Singapore Israel Industrial Research And Development Foundation (SIIRD)

Get up to US$750,000 to jointly develop products, solutions or technology with high-tech Israeli companies.

For who?

  • Singapore-registered companies that wish to partner Israel-registered companies to develop new products, solutions or technology.

  • Applications must be submitted jointly by the Singapore company and her Israeli partner. Either company should not own more than 20% of the shares in the other company.

For what?

  • To encourage Singapore companies to develop new products, solutions and technologies together with high-tech Israeli companies by funding:

    • Feasibility Studies to determine the technical feasibility or market acceptability of the new product, solution or technology.

    • Mini R&D Projects to jointly develop within 12 months, new products, solutions or technology that can be commercialised.

    • Full-Scale R&D Projects to jointly develop new products, solutions or technology that can be commercialised. The maximum duration of the project is 3 years.

  • To help Singapore companies find suitable partners in Israel and expand their network abroad by providing matchmaking services.

How much?

  • Funding for projects are as follows:

  • Qualifying costs include:

    • direct manpower
    • expendable materials & supplies
    • consultancy services
    • subcontractors
    • travel expenses between Singapore and Israel
    • depreciation of capital equipment essential to the project
    • cost of leasing capital equipment essential to the project
