• For local businesses that are providing products or services to MNCs

For what?

• To get MNCs to transfer their technology know-how and human resource expertise to local businesses

How much?

• The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) will subsidise a percentage of the salary of a manager sent by the MNC to work in the local business.
  
  
• The amount of assistance is determined on a case-by-case basis.

Things to note

• LIUP support lasts for a year, and can be renewed on a case-by-case basis.
  
  
• Generally the engineer works with the local supplier for two years.
