Are you in the spa and wellness business? Get a grant to defray the cost of hiring consultant for your CaseTrust certification.

For who?

• Your business qualifies as long as:
  
  
  • 30% - 100% of your shareholding is local
  • your group fixed assets are worth S$0 - S$15 million*
  • you have 0 - 200 employees (for companies in the services sector)*
  • you have a valid Massage Establishment Licence from the Singapore Police Force
  • your project is carried out for Singapore-based operations/outlets only

* Computed on a group basis i.e. checking up to three levels for corporate shareholders holding 20% - 100% of the total shareholding in your company and one level down where your company owns 51% - 100% of shareholding in a subsidiary company.

For what?

• To raise the professional standards of the spa and wellness industry.
  
  
• To instill consumers confidence of the industry through good business and fair trading practices.

How much?

• The maximum grant amount is S$2,700 per company. It defrays up to:
   

  Type Of Support	Amount Of Support	Grant Cap
  Consultancy Fee	Up to 70%	S$2,100
  Assessment Fee	30% for maximum of 3 outlets	S$240 for 1st outlet
  		S$180 for 2nd and 3rd outlet

Things to note

• This grant is valid for application from 1 October 2009 to 31 December 2010.
  
  
• The project must include both consultancy and assessment.
  
  
• The application form must be submitted before the commencement of the project.
  
  
• The project must be completed within 12 months.
  
  
• The grant is given on a reimbursement basis upon completion of the project
  
  
• All claims for reimbursement must be submitted within 6 months of project completion, together with CaseTrust certification, receipts and any other supporting documents
