SPRING Startup Enterprise Development Scheme (SPRING SEEDS)

Raise funds for your start-up. SPRING SEEDS Capital Pte Ltd co-invests with third-party investor(s) into commercially viable and innovative local start-ups, matching dollar-for-dollar up to S$1million.

  • For start-ups in Singapore involved in developing new or better products, processes and applications.

  • Start-up must:

    • be a Private Limited company incorporated 0-5 years in Singapore

    • have paid-up capital of S$50,000 - S$1 million

    • carry out its core activities in Singapore

For what?

  • To encourage private sector investments in innovative seed or early stage start-up companies developing innovative products or processes that can be marketed and sold globally.

How much?

  • The minimum investment by the private investor must be at least S$75,000.

  • SPRING SEEDS Capital* will match S$1 for every S$1 invested on the start-up, up to a maximum of S$1 million.

*SPRING SEEDS Capital is a subsidiary of SPRING Singapore.

Things to note

  • If you want to know more about SEEDS, you may want to attend the SEEDS briefing held twice each month, 11.00am to 12 noon at SPRING Singapore. To reserve a seat, please email with subject title "Registration for SPRING SEEDS Briefing" to SEEDS@spring.gov.sg.

  • In the email, please include:

    • your company name
    • name, designation and contact details of each attendee
