Register As A Government Supplier

In order to bid for Government projects, you need to first register with GeBIZ (Government Electronic Business) as a Government Supplier (GeBIZ Trading Partner). 

For some tenders, you may also need to be registered as an Expenditure and Policies Procurement Unit (EPPU) Supplier or Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Supplier.

GeBIZ Trading Partner

  • All suppliers must register on GeBIZ as a GeBIZ Trading Partner.
  • Registration is free for the first account. Each additional account costs S$320 per year.
  • Besides being able to bid and tender for projects on GeBIZ, your account also gives you access to archives of tender and quotation awards.

EPPU Supplier

  • Some tenders require suppliers to be registered with EPPU in order to qualify.

  • EPPU is the Expenditure and Procurement Policies Unit. This unit is in charge of evaluating whether suppliers of goods and services have sufficient financial resources to undertake Government contracts.

  • Your application will be evaluated according to fixed criteria. You must meet the criteria in order to qualify. For instance, newly formed companies must have paid-up capital of at least S$5,000.

  • You need to be a GeBIZ Trading Partner before you apply to be an EPPU supplier.

  • The fees for EPPU Supplier registration are:

    • S$45 per application for 1 Supply Head* (inclusive of GST)
    • S$90 per application for 2 or more Supply Heads* (inclusive of GST)

* Supply Head refers to the category of goods or services that your business supplies.

BCA Supplier

  • Suppliers must be registered with the BCA (unless otherwise specified in the tenders) in order to take part in construction or construction-related Government projects.
  • The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) evaluates and approves Government contracts for all construction and construction-related Supply Heads.
  • Your application will be evaluated according to fixed criteria. You must meet the criteria in order to qualify. For instance, you must show that you have the necessary full-time staff in Singapore to carry out the works.
  • All registered suppliers are part of BCA's Contractors Registry.
  • It costs S$360 - S$3,000 to register, depending on the Supply Head or Financia
