Who Qualifies?

• Anyone or any company can rent from the Housing & Development Board (HDB).
  
  
• However, the rental deposit for foreigners is higher than that for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents.

Types Of Industrial Premises

• Certain premises are pre-approved for food processing and production ; light/general industries ; motor workshops ; wood-working and warehousing. 
   

  Type	Suitable For	Description
  Industrial Workshop	Non-pollutive, clean and light industries	• Usually 4-storey buildings in areas of high population density.
  Flatted Factory		• High-rise factories equipped with greater capacity for electrical and floor loading. • Some also come with ramps to allow vehicles to load and unload goods right at the doorstep.
  Prototype Factory		• Standalone or semi-detached factories.
  Terrace Workshop		• Low-rise, single-storey workshops ideal for moving machinery, forklifts and goods.
