• The tenancy period varies and can be as long as 3 years, renewable up to a total of 9 years.
  
  
• If you want to rent a space for shorter periods, you can apply for Temporary Occupation Licences (TOLs) on a monthly, yearly or fixed-term basis.

Special Schemes

• RentDirect Scheme 
  Businesses can make direct rental offers to SLA for vacant State buildings quickly.
  
  
• Ideas Tender Scheme (ITS)
  Businesses can now propose new or alternative "uses" when tendering for rental of State land and buildings.
  
  
• Home Office Scheme 
  Businesses can also rent an apartment or landed property from SLA and apply to use it as a home office.
  
  
• Short-Term Rental of State Properties for Filming (SRF) Programme 
  Businesses can also rent State properties for movie or film productions. Application forms and criteria for application are available on the Singapore Film Commission website (PDF).
  
  
• SLA-EDB Global Schoolhouse Project 
  SLA identifies suitable vacant State properties for EDB to market to private educational institutions. Interested parties need to contact EDB (Education Services Dept) for further information.
