Original, fixed and expressed in a tangible form (such as in recording or writing).

Copyright is automatically given to the "creator" as soon as the work is created. You can use the © symbol followed by your name and year of creation to assert copyright.

Term Of Protection Artistic, Dramatic, Literary And Musical Works 
• Life of author + 70 years or 70 years from the end of the year of publication, if work not published before author's death.

Films, Sound Recording And Live Performances
• 70 years from the end of the year of first release or performance.

TV And Radio Broadcasts
• 50 years from the end of the year of creation.

Published Editions
• 25 years from the end of the year of publication of first edition.


Copyright protection is not "renewable".

International
Protection

 

Automatic protection in all member countries of the Berne Convention and TRIPS Agreement.
