PD is the certification for organisations who have achieved the Business Excellence Niche Standard (People). In other words, PD is national recognition for organisations that have systems and processes in place to achieve excellence through people. PD is one of the 4 certifications under the Business Excellence Framework.

How Does Obtaining PD Benefit My Business?

• You can use the PD logo on all your collaterals.

How Do I Apply For PD?

• You adopt and strive to meet the Business Excellence Niche Standard (People).
  
  
• When you are confident you have achieved it, apply for the certification online.
  
  
• SPRING Singapore will assign certified assessors to evaluate your systems and processes.
  
  
• PD assessment is based on the 55 criterion in the Assessment of People Excellence (APEX) (PDF) self-assessment tool.
  
  
• If you score at least 400 out of 1,000 points in the assessment, you will be awarded the PD.
  
  
• If you score 700 or more points, you will also be short listed for the People Excellence Award.

How Do I Maintain My PD Certification?

• You need to continuously ensure that your human resource management and systems are working well.
  
  
• SPRING Singapore will conduct a mid-term review 1½ years after you have been awarded PD. Please refer to the Mid-Term Review Guide (WORD) for details.
  
  
• 3 years after your certification, you will need to renew your certification. Please refer to the Renewal Application Form and Guide (WORD) for details.

• All manufacturing companies applying for Manufacturing Excellence Award (MAXA) must also apply for Singapore Quality Class (SQC).
