What Types Of Businesses Have Won The Award?

  • The award has been given to businesses of all types and sizes.

  • The award is not limited to particular types of businesses or industries.

How Does Winning The Award Benefit My Business?

  • You can use the I-Award logo on all your collaterals.

  • The logo is a mark of exceptional excellence that shows you have the best possible systems which ensure your business:

    • encourages innovation from within
    • continuously innovates to stay ahead of the competition
    • develops new products and processes

How Do I apply for the Award?

  • To qualify for the Award, you must first go through the Singapore Innovation Class (I-Class) certification. You must score at least 700 points during the certification to be considered for the I-Award.

  • If you qualify for the I-Award, you can apply by submitting the following documents to SPRING Singapore for assessment:

    • Application Form (WORD)
    • Organisational Chart of your company
    • Supporting chart(s) that shows the relationship with the parent organisation and its subsidiaries, if applicable
    • Organisational Profile
    • Application Report and supporting definition of any terms and abbreviations used

  • SPRING Singapore will assign certified assessors to evaluate your systems and processes.

  • I-Award assessment is based on the criterion in the Innovation Scorecard for Business Excellence (I-SCORE) (PDF) self-assessment tool.

  • At the end of the assessment process, the Board of Assessors will submit reports to the Management Committee.

  • The Management Committee reviews the reports and puts together a list of potential winners for the Governing Council. The Governing Council decides who receives the award.

What Happens After I Receive The I-Award?

  • The I-Award is valid for 5 years.

  • At the end of 5 years, you must re-apply for the I-Award.
